| Estimator / Senior Estimator - Birmingham - Up to £55,000 The Estimator / Snr Estimator: With proven experience as an estimator within the construction environment you will be a professional who can offer experience and insight into building estimating. As Estimator you will have good communication skills and be able to report your professional opinions to the Managing Director. Estimator / Snr Estimator Duties: As estimator, you will be responsible for the preparing analytical tenders, preparation of enquiry documents, sourcing and selection of sub contractor quotations, calculation of site management and preliminary costs. You will also do contract appraisals and final negotiations for projects valued from £1m - £15m in both traditional and design & build projects. Experience of Conquest estimating would be an advantage as would the ability to do take off quantities. As Estimator you must be able to prepare enquiries for domestic sub contractors and materials, prepare net cost, estimate using traditional methods (not just s/c packages) and be commercially alert as well as a committed team player. Estimator / Snr Estimator Salary: An attractive salary of up to £55,000 + package will be offered to the successful Senior Estimator, including a car or car allowance, benefits, pension and a bonus scheme plus the guidance and support needed to succeed.
