CDM Co-ordinator / Health & Safety

Our client, an International Property and Management Consultant, requires a CDM Co-ordinator to provide a comprehensive, accurate and cost effective advisory service for a major commercial mixed use project in Sheffield.

You will work with their client providing specific and accurate advice on all Health and Safety matters, covering all aspects within the new CDM regulations, for a major multi-million pound mixed-use development in Sheffield.

Our client is also providing cost management and project management in the delivery of the project so there will be plenty of support and interface with key personnel on a daily basis.

The role will be based in our client's office in Leeds initially before moving onsite in Sheffield.

As CDM Co-ordinator you will need to have detailed knowledge of the Construction (Design Management) Regulations and have proven experience practicing as a Planning Supervisor / CDMC within the Construction industry.

You will be involved with substantial construction projects so it is essential that you have a solid background in the construction industry with excellent communication and customer-facing skills as well as the relevant professional qualifications.

You will hold a good property related degree, be qualified to at least NEBOSH certificate or equivalent level and be a Member of the Association for Project Safety (MaPS), IOSH or MIIRSM.
