| Our client, a market-leading global Construction and Management Consultancy, is actively looking to appoint a Senior Cost Manager for their offices in San Francisco in the USA. Main Job Purpose: *To allow their clients to expand their business by providing additional accommodation for their business units to move into. *Provide cost management support, including developing cost management function, assistance in developing American business and local Client care Responsibilities: *Preparation of all project deliverables including Value Added Services, such as risk and value engineering registers *Involvement in the development of the American part of the business, including marketing support, Client care, managing & developing CM function in the USA *Ensuring consistency of service is provided on all commissions Globally *Supporting Global business in relation to cost management function and development of service Job Activities/Duties: *All aspects of cost management, from feasibility to final account on projects *Assistance with marketing and other office management duties Relationships & Contacts: *Opportunity to develop the cost management function within the American part of the business *Reporting directly to the Regional MD *Managing a team of CMs from the San Francisco Office Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications: *Ideally appropriate qualifications in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management *Experience of working on similar projects (commercial fit-out, retail fit-out) on fast track basis *Ability to work as part of a team and also under own initiative *Experience of managing a team Please contact MBI Recruitment for more information! | ||
