A diverse main contractor, with offices across the globe, currently has a requirement for a Project Planner to be based at St James Park (Central London). A major player, our client can offer the scope to work across numerous sectors in the future, on some of the largest building and infrastructure projects that London has to offer. Do to an increase in workload, a requirement has become available to work on various rail schemes in Central London, including signalling, station refurbishment and track projects.The successful Planner will be working within a team of four, planning on various rail related schemes across London worth roughly up to £50m in total. The role will involve creating detailed cost and resource-loaded programmes, monitoring and updating, progress reporting, earned value analysis, etc. Based mainly in the office, the successful Project Planner will be working closely with the client and thus must be a clear communicator and personable individual.Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following:- At least 3-5 years project planning experience, ideally on engineering or construction-related projects.- Proficiency with Primavera P6 software.- Strong understanding of earned value analysis.- Previous experience on NEC3 programmes would be advantageous.- Clear communication skills and personable individual.- Eligible to work in the UK.In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £40-45,000 per annum plus travel allowance, pension, health and various other flexi benefits.Apply now for further details.Services advertised by Project Resource are that of an employment business and/or agency.
