 Project Planning Manager - East Midlands - PowerOur client is looking for a Project Planning Manager to work various projects in the Power industry including Overhead lines and underground cabling works.The ideal Planning Manager MUST have the following:-At Planning Manager level-Experience of managing a team-Experience of working on power, civils, rail, utilities (OHL, cabling, HV, Electrical infrastructure would be advantageous)-Strong Influencing skills-Strong Earned Value Management-Proficient in P6-Excellent understanding of financial and commercial aspects of such projectsAs the Project Planning Manager you will be overseeing all of the Programming throughout the business division including client management and team management.You will be able to get involved in hands on Planning when needed but take a step back from the more complex work to analyse the overall output. The work load will involve planning on many small jobs over a larger period and experience of working on similar schemes would be an advantage. The Project Planning Manager will be managing a fully integrated programme and carry out Earned Value reporting.Part of your position will be to manage a team of Planners therefore experience in leading, mentoring and man-management will be required.The ideal Planning Manager will receive:-Up to £55,000-Full benefits packageApply now for further details.
