 We are currently recruiting for a main contractor, who are based in Essex and have recently secured a sizeable design & build project. Due to this recent award the contractor is keen to recruit an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor who has a good understanding of the commercial building sector and an astute knowledge of JCT form of contract.Responsibilities:The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be reporting in to a Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be expected to have a good understanding of the cost management of a project and show strong commercial awareness The company require someone with a thorough understanding of the construction industry, experience with a main contractor in a Assistant Quantity Surveying role, with the energy and enthusiasm to develop their skills to become a full Quantity Surveyor.
