 We are looking to recruit a Technical Contract supervisor to work at our site in Peacehaven East Sussex. Purpose: To provide technical support and all aspects of IMS & Health and Safety compliance for the team based on the Peacehaven Schools Contract. Dimensions: Technical support to a team of approximately 40 employees in conjunction with the on site Management Team. To control all Sub Contractor operations on site, ensure that all necessary Permits to Work, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH and PPE are in place before any works commence. Assist in the Life Cycle process, recording required works, obtaining estimates, submitting requests for funding to and liasing with the Commercial Manger responsible for the Peacehaven Life Cycle fund. Principle Accountabilities: - First point of contact in the Account Managers Absence for our client, schools SMT and ESCC's principal contact- Provision of technical support to the site based team- Achievement of end user satisfaction- H&S compliance- Staff morale and discipline- Annual appraisal of direct reports and their personal development- First point of contact for direct reports regarding technical and H&S issues - Control of all Sub Contract and directly employed staff's on site activities- Ensure all workers comply with the PPE Mandate- Maintain accurate and timely paper and electronic records- Assist with updating site IMS Systems- Assist with updating site COSHH Systems- Assist with gathering information for the provision of quotations- Assist with completion of monthly, quarterly and other reports as required- To assist the Account Manager and the Administrator with the daily operation of the contractQualifications and Experience:- Building services trade required, electrical qualification required.- Ability to complete minor projects, reactive and maintenance tasks working hands on with the existing on site technical team.- A team player is needed working with a small management team.- Required to be trained in the purchasing system JDE.- Some experience in a similar environment would be beneficial.- Good IT skills would be an advantage, however a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.- High level of interpersonal and customer relationship skills.- Able to communicate with the team and end users at all levels.- Ability to sustain effective relationships. - 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations- Ability to plan, organise and work independently.- Reliability is important.- Flexibility and adaptability is important.- Good general level of education.- Own car and a clean driving licence an advantage as Peacehaven Schools consist of five schools located within 1.5 miles of each other.- Required to undergo a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check before taking up the position, negative findings could preclude employment.
