 SITE MANAGER - SOUTHAMPTON Our client is a well established main contractor. Due to winning a number of major contracts they are currently looking for experienced site managers to work on a number of Education, Health and Commercial contracts in Southampton, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Bournemouth. This role is to start at the end of February.Main purpose of roleAs site manager you will coordinate and manage the activities of all site personnel and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures. Lead and motivate the team and liaise effectively with customers.ROLE*Manage the site and ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and standards using specified drawings and instructions, within budget and on programme in support of our Perfect Delivery philosophy *Supervise all direct labour as necessary and coordinate the activities of trades and subcontractors involved on the site so that all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme and the quality and cost standards required by our client. *Ensure that all work is kept on programme and that all details as specified in the drawings and instructions are adhered to*Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times in accordance with laid down company procedures and legislationCANDIDATE*Minimum HNC/HND in Construction or equivalent *Appropriate CSCS card and SMSTS*CITB 5 day (preferable)*Substantial relevant site experience in Education, Health and Commercial contracts.*Strong leadership skills with ability to identify and notify development areas within team*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, persuade and communicate with people at all levels*Able to quickly build strong working relationships with people at all levelsREMUNARATIONWe shall be looking for experienced site managers on either contract or permanent. Salary and package is negotiable depending upon experience. Contract length is 12 months.
