 Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Retail Fit-out sector - MidlandsWe are currently recruiting for an established contractor, with a wealth of experience working for blue chip clients in the retail fit out sector. Due to an impressive period of growth and some excellent client relationships, they are now in a position to strengthen their team with the addition of an experienced Quantity Surveyor.Responsibilities:The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for full cost management of single projects, including take offs and producing bills of quantities. The average duration of each project is 3 - 4 months and you will be required to split your time between site and the office as required. Requirements:-Minimum of 10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor.-Main contractor background.-Retail fit out experience is essential.-Educated to a high standard - Degree preferred.-MRICS or CIOB is highly desirable. (client will support if required)-Must be flexible on travel and working hours as sites are spread throughout the UK and working hours are often unsocial.-Excellent communication and client facing skills.-Must be able to demonstrate a flair and ability to make money on projects!Remuneration:-£40,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)-Car allowance (£5000)-Fuel for business mileage-Private health care-Pension schemeThis is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business, with a genuine prospect of promotion to Commercial Manager in the next 12 months.
