 Due to planned growth through 2012, my client is now recruiting for a Contracts Manager. You will have commercial and operational responsibility for up to three projects with a combined value in the region of £20M at locations across the UK. You will have excellent people management skills with the ability to develop and build upon relationships with colleagues, suppliers and sub contractors. In addition, you will act as an ambassador to our clients, playing a key role in enhancing long term partnerships which is key to this company's continued success. With a depth of technical knowledge and experience gained at a senior management level, you will a proven track record of leading people, controlling costs, ensuring health & safety best practice and meeting our client's expectations. In addition, you will have a broad understanding of the principles of the design process from conception to completion. You will be expected to reside in commuting distance of our head office to ensure team working with colleagues. Furthermore, due to the geographical spread of projects, it is likely that you will be required to stay away from home one to two nights per week.
