 A national main contractor, with an impressive portfolio of current and future projects, currently has a requirement for a Senior Planner to join their preconstruction team in Central London (Oxford Circus). Our client has a reputation as a fast-growing and forward-thinking organisation who has become a prominent name in the UK construction market in the last five years.The role will be to lead the planning and preconstruction function for their London office, which involves 90% of our client's London-based projects. Schemes are all within general build and will typically be worth anything from £5m to £80m each, ranging from commercial, retail, housing and leisure. There will be tender and live project experience and the role will involve working closely with design, estimating and commercial teams as well as potentially leading more junior members of staff in the future. The role will be based from their Central London office in Oxford Circus.Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following experience:- At least 10 years construction planning experience within a main contractor environment.- Proficient with Asta Powerproject software.- Strong preconstruction experience plus tender and site programming.- A relevant construction/engineering degree would be advantageous.- Management experience of Junior Planners would be a distinct advantage, although not essential.- Positive individual with good team-working skills.- Eligible to work in the UK.In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £65,000 per annum plus £5,000 annual travel allowance, pension, BUPA and various other flexi benefits.This role has just become available and thus for immediate consideration, either apply through this website or contact Richard or Justine on 0207 870 9333.Services advertised by Project Resource are that of an employment business and/or agency.
