 Construction PlannerSidcup (Kent/South East London)A regional contractor with operations across the UK have a new requirement for a Intermediate Construction Planner to be based from their Sidcup office (Kent/South East London).Our client is a prestigious main contractor and a name synonymous with the UK building sector. Their impressive portfolio of building schemes includes commercial, retail, housing, heritage and public works, generally worth anything up to £80m each but with the odd landmark scheme worth beyond this.This position has become available due to an internal promotion within the business; our client is proud of its training and development programme and actively looks to promote internally whenever possible.This role will involve a combination of tender and site; the Construction Planner will be based in Sidcup and expected to manage the planning function on these projects from inception to completion. Reporting to the Planning Manager, duties will include creating detailed programmes, monitoring/updating progress, progress reporting, critical path analysis, liaising with senior management/clients, etc. From their Sidcup regional office, our client runs projects across London and the South East and thus there may be some travel involved to site, etc.Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following experience:- At least 4-5 years construction planning experience for main contractors in the UK.- Proficient with Asta Powerproject software.- Tender and site experience.- A relevant engineering/construction-related degree would be advantageous.- Flexible to travel across London.- Eligible to work in the UK.Our client is offering a salary of up to £45,000 per annum plus travel allowance (equates to circa 10%), pension, health and various other flexi benefits.Apply now for further details.Services advertised by Project Resource are that of an employment business and/or agency.
