Description:	ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR - KENTOur client is a Kent based contractor specialising in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Marine, Highways and Heavy Civils.They are looking for a junior professional from the construction Industry with experience in the civil engineering field and a passion for construction projects. You will be a newly qualified QS with construction experience. We envisage that candidates likely to be considered by the client will have completed the second year of a surveying degree or recently graduated.We are looking for an able communicator who can work under the supervision of a Senior QS to ensure timely and on budget project completion. Your professional development will be driven forward within this framework by a team of construction industry experts on a range of building projects.Candidates must be: -* Part qualified as a QS on a RICS course* Some experience of civils and highways* Capable of Taking off, writing and issuing Bills of Quantities and dealing with variations under supervision* Willing to learn within a traditional building environment* Able to communicate with senior personnel, site staff and sub contractors
