My client is a major consultancy who have a multi-disciplined workload, predominantly in the civils and M&E sectors.They are currently looking for a Project Planner to initially work alongside and manage the contractor and subcontractor on a combination of civils and M&E related schemes. Eventually, this role will develop into a full consultancy Planning role, working both from the office and on site with client, leading the planning function. The role will be based in the Highgate area of North London, however travel may be required on occasion around the Northern Home Counties (as far afield as between Cambridge and Reading depending on project wins).The successful candidate's role will involve creating detailed programmes, monitoring/updating, progress reporting, critical path analysis, managing contractor and subcontractor programmes, liaising with the client, etc. This is a fantastic opportunity for a consultancy-based Project Planner now looking to take the next step in his/her career or for an individual interested in breaking into a consultancy environment.Requirements for application to be considered:- Experienced Planner of at least 3-4 years. - Civil Engineering background (general civils, trenches, highways, tunnelling). - A relevant engineering degree would be advantageous. - Proficient in Primavera P6. - Client-facing personality (i.e. good communication and presentation skills).- Ability to be security cleared (do not already need to possess).- Eligible to work in the UK.In return, our client will offer a basic salary of up to £40,000 per annum plus travel/allowance, pension, health and flexible benefits.Apply now for more details or contact Justine or Richard on 0207 870 9333 to discuss further.Services advertised by Project Resource Ltd are those of an agency and/or an employment business.
