 Our client has a new vacancy for our Filton site in Bristol. The role of an HVAC engineer will be to carry out mobile engineering duties within the BAE (S) account as instructed by the Asset Manager* Attend sites in a timely manner to receive appropriate safety documentation and briefings prior to commencing work* Comply with legislation, maintenance standards and good industry practice* Operate and monitor all plant and equipment safely* Maintain comprehensive records of all work carried out on plant and equipment and communicate all observations, findings and recommendations to the appropriate site manager/supervisor prior to leaving site* Carry out reasonable reactive requests when asked by the Operations Managers* Obtain equipment quotes for emergent works and e-mail all quotes to the Site Manager and EveryplaceOperations Manager on completion to enable appropriate remedial actions to be determined* Compile Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks undertaken and submit to SiteManager/Supervisor for approval prior to works commencing* Maintain a good working relationship with the client and their customers* Carry out all tasks to the Site Managers' satisfaction utilising agreed housekeeping skills and establishing and maintaining high levels of customer service* Comply with all company and BAE procedures and Safe Working Practices* Maintain your allocated vehicle, tools, test equipment, PPE and uniform in a clean and serviceable condition* Have a working knowledge of IT including the use of computerised maintenance systems and hand held technology* Attend and assist in the presentation of Tool Box Talks* Build and manage customer relationships Qualifications and Experience: Time served apprenticeship or qualification to ONC level in a HVAC discipline* C & G 2079 Category 1* Building Services maintenance experience on refrigeration plant including chillers* Excellent diagnostic skills* Excellent inter-personal and customer service skills* Smart and presentable in appearance* Knowledge and experience of Safe Systems of Work.* Valid and clean full driving licence* Desire to complete further training* BAE/ MOD clearance will be requiredBenefits:£37506Grade 6 car allowanceCompany PensionAXA PPP after 6 months25 days holiday
