 This Main Contractor cover New and Refurbishment Projects in the Commercial, Health, Education, Retail, Leisure and Civils Sectors. They are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager responsible for the commercial management of all aspects of their Special Works Division in Devon. The works include property services focusing on smaller construction projects, usually up to £1 million in value. These include building alterations, repairs, extensions and refurbishments as well as term and planned maintenance. Responsibilities will include developing and agreeing commercial strategy which achieves budget and maximises profitability, Manage the commercial team, Manage commercial risk and opportunity, Ensure all commercial reporting procedures are adhered to. Candidates will have experience of main contracting and smaller projects (pre construction experience would be an advantage), experience in dealing with all elements of construction including refurbishment, new build and alteration contracts and a Proven experience in managing a successful commercial team and with effective customer management.
