 Our client, an ambitious specialist contractor, currently has a requirement for a Senior Project Planner to be based from their office in Watford. Reporting to the Head of Project Management, the successful candidate's main duty will be to lead the planning function on all of the client's projects across London and the South East. This will involve a combination of tender and live projects (including some delay work) and will be both office and site based. Project involvement generally revolves around the rail sector, often working on civils and M&E-related aspects of major station refurbishments.Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following:- Significant planning experience within the rail sector, within a NR or LUL environment.- Specialist experience of projects in civil engineering or M&E would be an advantage.- A relevant engineering degree would be advantageous.- Proficiency with relevant planning software, including P3 and P6.- Tender and live project experience.- Strong personality; good communication and team-working skills.- Eligible to work in the UK.In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum plus company car, pension, health, discretionary bonuses and flexi benefits.Apply now for immediate consideration.Services advertised by Project Resource are that of an employment business and/or agency.
