A unique opportunity has arisen for a Construction Planner to develop into a mainstream Claims Consultant/Delay Analyst, based in Central London. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with an interest in claims but who is currently not on the traditional "delay analyst route" to train and develop their skills in this potentially lucrative area.My client is a growing, ambitious consultancy with a fast-developing reputation in the UK building and civil engineering markets. They have recently secured several large commissions and thus are anticipating impressive growth for 2012 and 2013. They currently offer an well-reputed service for quantum dispute resolution but are now looking to further develop their delay and planning arm.Working in a team of Partners and Claims Consultants, the successful candidate will be trained and developed into a self-sufficient Forensic Planner and liaising closely with clients on various building and civil engineering programme disputes. The role will involve supporting an expert witness (at times) and working at mediation, arbitration and adjudication stages. Good career progression is available and detailed training will be provided whilst you shadow several experienced consultants.Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following:- At least 10 years planning experience for main contractors within the building/civil engineering sector.- Good planning skills and proficiency with relevant software.- Some previous forensic planning experience and exposure to extension of time analsyis.- A relevant construction/engineering degree would be a distinct advantage.- Client-facing individual with good communication skills, presentable, etc.- A desire to become a Claims Consultant.- Eligible to work in the UK.In return, our client will offer an excellent salary of up to circa £55-60,000 per annum plus discretionary bonuses, mobile, laptop, etc.Apply now for immediate consideration.Services advertised by Project Resource are that of an employment business and/or agency.
