 Quantity Surveyor - GloucestershireLocation:GloucestershireSalary:£26,00 - £34,000 depending experienceCompany car or car allowance 26 days holiday plus banksPrivate MedicalPension and life assuranceThe Client:Our client is one of the largest independent ground engineering specialists.Due to an increase in workload of their specialist Supplying & Retaining Walls business they are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to be based from their offices in Gloucestershire.Reporting to the Managing Director the role offers autonomy and needs a person who is confident they can act as a stand alone Quantity Surveyor.Specific Duties shall include but not be limited to the following:-- Monthly Commercial reporting of profit, loss, tenders/orders and probables including assistance in setting up systems- Maximisation of income on a wide number of differing types of contract- Responsibility for tendering, procurement and payment of sub contractors and where appropriate suppliers- Agreeing Final Accounts- Occasional visits to sites/offices throughout the UK- Commercial support and advice to office management & site staff.Experience and Qualifications Needed- Degree qualified (or working towards) and/or experience in Quantity Surveying- IT literate in Excel, Word and accounts packages.- Full UK driving licenceDesirable - Prior experience as a specialist subcontractor, groundworker or civil engineering sector- CSCS card holderThis is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist contractor with a family feel and the financial capital of a large organisation.If you are relevant and interested in this position please call Steve O'Connell at Project Resource Limited on 01189 522240 or email a up to date CV to s.oconnell@project-resource.co.uk.
