A vacancy has arisen for a Contract Supervisor to join our client site in Bexley.Location: BexleyResponsible to: Contract ManagerMission: To effectively assist the Contract Manager in the profitable management and control of facilities and site activities to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with stated procedures and measurable objectives. Responsibilities: *In conjunction with the Contract Manager be responsible for the overall management and profitability of the contract.*Be aware of the contract conditions and scope, sufficient to enable effective management and conduct our clients business in accordance with the deliverables.*Manage the PPM system in so far as it is accurate, timely, resourced, effective and complies with all statutory and contractual requirements. *Manage minor projects as directed to support client requirements and provide all technical input and assist with commercial control.*Supervise sub contractors and agency staff engaged on the contract, with regular reviews of compliance, effectiveness, value for money and upholding our client's good name.*Ensure compliance with both our clients and the Clients procedures at all times.*Provide periodic reports as directed / required by the contract in a timely and accurate form.*Maintain good relationships with both customer and internal staff and attend regular / structured meetings as required.*Provide line management for supervisors / subordinates to include instruction, training, competence review and corporate image. Empower key staff to act on behalf of our client in a controlled and supervised manner with regular reviews.Ensure all applicable records are regularly reviewed and maintained, including site diaries, technical records and attendance details.*Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety directives and instructions, to include permit to work systems, site specific requirements, inductions, statutory requirements etc.*Ensure all operatives have suitable tools, equipment and PPE to carry out the task and that they are regularly inspected, including climbing / access equipment, transport and general tools. Qualifications and Experience:*Preferably multi trade understanding, Electrical Mechanical experience essential*ONC/HNC Electrical/Mechanical preferred*Computer literate, conversant with computerised maintenance management systems and building management systems*Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation and site management*Proven experience in supervisory role with man management responsibilities*Experienced in maintenance of large public buildings, daily contact with client.*Undertake contract specific training including competent/authorised person duties as required*Will be required to undertake CRB check Benefits:Pool Car - 25 days + bank holidays - Stakeholder Pension - On call allowance
