Quantity SurveyorLondon£40,000 - £45,000 per annum + BenefitsRef: DW54942Our Client - a top 5 consultancy have a requirement for an M&E Quantity Surveyor with specific experience medium to large new build and refurbishment projects within the Commercial, Retail and Private Residential Sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for; delivering and managing service excellence in Quantity Surveying solutions; delivering positive outcomes for our clients; providing leadership and coaching to Quantity Surveyors and driving innovation of Service together with capturing and sharing knowledge.Responsibilities:*Provide support to the Team Leader / Service Leaders in Client interface, and to manage multi-disciplinary project teams in delivering large sized projects, and professional assignments, in new build, refurbishment or live operating business environments. *Work collaboratively with other Senior Quantity Surveyors to manage related issues on the multi-disciplinary projects and liaison with key stakeholders. *Lead, coach and develop team members to deliver service excellence. *Utilise and embed established tools and processes plus development of these documents to suit particular project requirements and Client's operation principles. Additionally, proactively develop service excellence including the utilisation of technology to support our delivery. *Demonstrate strong personal presence at all stages of the project lifecycle including actively seeking feedback to develop our service excellence *Deliver the agreed scope of works plus the leadership and management of meetings with the client, supply chain, and stakeholders *Deliver projects within the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at the business case / client brief stage, while also maintaining and exceeding time, cost and quality critical success factors *Deliver services utilising the best in class tools identified by the Heads of Service as control and review mechanisms. *Work with client stakeholders and operational team to deliver project solutions that support the operational model. Requirements:*Candidate to be able to demonstrate successful delivery of medium to large Engineering Services projects in the Commercial, Retail and Private Residential Sectors (specific London experience would be advantageous) *Good understanding of Engineering Sevices and systems *Competence in management of Master Planning and pre-contract Quantity Surveying Services *Competence in management of managing design team outputs to 'should cost' parameters *Demonstrable understanding of the Client's key objectives within the Sector and specific challenges *Ability to build Sustainable client relationships as trusted advisor *Proven track record in ensuring project teams are motivated to achieve and exceed the Client's objectives *High quality verbal and written communications (reports, instructions) *Excellence in administration of Building and Consultant Contracts *Strong people management and leadership skills If interested and feel that you have the relevant experience please contact Dan Wingrave d.wingrave@project-resource.co.uk or call Dan directly on 02078709333.
