 Our client, a medium-sized fit-out contractor, currently has a requirement for a Planning Engineer to join their team in London (near London Bridge).Our client is a growing fit out and interiors specialist with a regional presence in several areas across the UK. As part of this continued growth. they are opening a new office in London and are now seeking a Planner to help lead the planning function on various commercial and retail-related schemes.The role will involve working closely with the project management and commercial teams with duties involving creating project plans, tender and live project work, monitoring and updating progress, progress reporting, critical path analysis, liaising with senior management, etc. The successful candidate will have the full support of a Senior Planner and the opportunity to develop into the London Planning Manager in time.Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following:- At least 3 years construction planning experience, ideally with some fit-out experience.- Proficient with Asta Powerproject software.- Enthusiastic to learn and ability to pick things up quickly.- Good communication skills.- Flexible to travel across London.- Eligible to work in the UK.In return, our client is offering a package of £35,000 per annum (broken down as £30,000 plus £5,000 travel allowance) plus pension, health and various other flexi benefits.Apply now for immediate consideration.Services advertised by Project Resource are that of an employment business and/or agency.
