 Quantity Surveyor - Bedfordshire - up to £50k plus package My client has a high percentage of negotiated work and repeat business which is a reflection on the relationships that we build with our clients working on projects both large and small. Planned future development and an increase in workload, means we are currently seeking to recruit highly motivated Quantity Surveyor. I am recruiting for a Quantity to be based from there offices in Bedfordshire. I am looking for someone with successful track record on building projects in excess of circa £10 million with top 10 main contractors . Reporting to a Commercial Manager they will be responsible for all commercial duties on their projects including pre-contract negotiation of price and contractual conditions, subcontract procurement using established supply chains, subcontract and main contract administration/final account settlements, monthly cost/value reconciliations and forecasting. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential as is the ability to work well as part of a multi-discipline team. Experience of Design and Build projects would be an advantage.
