 Senior Quantity Surveyor required to join a successful Main Contractor. My client is one of the best known building contractors in the UK, specialising in the commercial, education, high spec residential, and local authority sectors with projects ranging in value from £5million to £100million Due to ongoing success, a vacancy has arisen for a Senior Surveyor work on a recently secured project in Plymouth. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will take accountability for the development and implementation of all pre and post contract strategies, commercial functions and contract reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hugely successful and busy Contractor that can offer a full order book and structured path to career progression. Key Skills and Capabilities: Construction methods and technologies Measurement and valuation Subcontract orders and buying Contractual knowledge Ability to use / understand financial reports and final accounts Candidates should have the ability to form and develop strong relationships with clients, PQS, design team and supply chain, and to develop commercial site teams.
