Quantity Surveyor / Estimator / Cost Consultant - EssexOur client is a respected Construction consultancy with a rapidly expanding customer base. They are currently looking for a highly experienced Cost Estimator with a proven track record of delivering Building Services contracts to join their busy estimating team, working on multiple high-value projects.ROLE*Prepare estimates and cost plans to deliver Civil Engineering and M&E Construction projects on commercial sites.*Compile tender documentation and Bills of Quantities.*Develop and maintain Schedules of Rates.*Liaise with clients and local authorities as needed.*Manage contracts, on site, accounting for alterations when required.CANDIDATE*Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Building Services disciplines.*MRICS is ESSENTIAL. *Previous experience, ideally within a consultancy, in a cost planning role.*Aware of Health & Safety regulations and CDM 2007.*Excellent communication skills with both customers and Senior Management. *Ability to meet tight deadlines.SALARY*Negotiable, dependent upon experience.
