Contract Administrator - Crossrail - London, UK Job Details

This new opportunity has just been created for a Contract Administrator to join the Crossrail team.  Working on behalf of the client, your role will be to manage and report on the contractual performance of engineering and design services as they are delivered, processing and authorising applications for payment and the release of funds.  It’s a high-level, strategically important position which will give you an excellent overview of Europe’s largest and most complicated engineering programme.  You’ll be working alongside high-calibre and motivated individuals from a range of professions, all working to ensure the programme is delivered to schedule and budget.

To be considered, you’ll need to meet the following criteria:

- strong background in NEC contract administration, either working directly for the client or through a consultancy;
- excellent understanding of the UK rail sector;
- RICS, CIOB or equivalent memberships;
- education to degree level or beyond in a construction or civils-related discipline.

The role is offered on an initial contract basis, with the option of going permanent at a later date.  Rate will be in the range of £400 to £450 a day (ltd co).
