 SOLAR PV INSTALLATION ROOFERTHE COMPANYUK'S leaders in the installation of Solar PV projects. Going through a phase of rapid growth, we have a number of high profile and exciting projects including installing numerous PV panels to retrofit houses within the Leeds area.THE ROLEWorking on-site within a three man team lead by an electrician and also working alongside a labourer your day-to-day responsibilities will include:To work with Labourer to assist electrically qualified installer to fit solar PV systems to a variety of roof types Assist in the collection of materials from central storesWorking to strict deadlinesInstall Solar PV panels and supporting structure Remedial work for broken tiles, ridges, verges, lead work etc where necessary Undertake basic timberwork for roof strengthening where required Maintain site safety and cleanlinessSkills and Qualifications:EssentialWorking at heights Certificate Manual Handling Certificate Hazard Awareness & Risk AssessmentAsbestos AwarenessHigh standards of workmanship and professionalism Good communication skills Driving license DesirablePrevious experience of solar roofing systems Interest in renewable energies and sustainability Clean driving license NVQ Level 2 Slating and Tiling roofs or equivalentTHE PROSPECTSAs a large and rapidly expanding company you will not only have the opportunity to be extend your contract, but be involved in national Solar PV projects.
