A leading National social housing contractor requires an experienced Site Manager in Plymouth.The company is looking to recruit experienced Site Manager to resource a £50 million framework to carry out social housing refurbishments to "decent homes" standard. You will be required to assist and support the Project Manager in the programme delivery and replacement of kitchen and bathrooms, central heating upgrades and electrical rewires to a wide range of tenanted social housing properties. You will be responsible for overseeing the programme and schedule of rates, supervision and monitoring of a team of Foremen and a range of direct and subcontracts tradesmen, client liaison, weekly progress reporting, signing off and authorising works, handover of properties between 5 to 10 properties per week and deal with tenants when issues arise. You must maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service ensuring Key Performance Indicators of the contract are being met at all times. You must also be able to work under pressure to strict timescales.This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Site Manager keen to join a business with secured workload for the next five years.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working as Site Manager for a social housing contractor or maintenance contractor. You will either come from a trade background or be qualified to HNC standard holding the relevant site qualifications including a CSCS Card. You must have worked on social housing and in particular on tenanted properties and the internal or external maintenance of these.
