Senior Cost Planner - Airport Baggage Systems - London Job Details

We are now looking for a Senior Cost Planner to join a major airport upgrade programme in London.  Working on behalf of the airport owner, your role will be to provide cost estimates and plans for a proposed new baggage handling system.  You'll get involved at the pre-contract, feasibility stage, and then develop the plans further as the project moves into construction and then commissioning and hand-back.

Our client is well-established consultancy with an excellent reputation both with their customers and their employees.  You'll be joining to work on the airport project initially, but with the opportunity to develop a long term career with our client and work on a range of other projects.

To be considered, you MUST meet the following criteria:

- demonstrable experience in the processes of procuring baggage systems, and / or automated cargo handling;
- demonstrable estimating/cost planning experience for baggage systems;
- excellent written and spoken communication skills;
- ability to work well as a team player;
- eligible to live and work in the UK.

Experience of NEC contracts would be to your advantage, although not essential.

In return, you will be rewarded with a salary in the range of £45k - £55k + excellent benefits package.
