 Development of Independent Power Producer Projects (IPP´s etc)Our client is seeking a Director of Project Development, for some major power projects in Europe.Our client is a global market leader in the sale of turnkey power plants. The company has ongoing projects in Europe & Africa. For a number of years they have successfully developed IPP projects and the main task of the Director of Project Development will be to further develop this business segment.The candidate should have a B.Sc. or higher, preferably a degree in Mechanical, Marine or Electrical Engineering combined with a relevant business-oriented degree or demonstrable commercial experience.It is a further requirement that the candidate has extensive experience and a proven track record in the development of successful IPP projects up to and beyond financial close.In addition, the ideal candidate is:* An experienced salesman with a high energy level and personal drive who relishes a challenge.* A committed person capable of working in international teams - often to tight deadlines with project stakeholders and using complex contract structures.* Able to see and drive business opportunities and solutions and generate excellent results together with the project stakeholders. It is an advantage if the candidate has experience from EPC and/or O&M contracts of process / power plants. The candidate is expected to have an excellent command of written and spoken English. Further competency in French and/or Spanish would be an advantage.
