 My client provides a comprehensive range of integrated planning, management, engineering and environmental services in the built and natural environments throughout the world. As part of continued expansion within key areas they are actively recruiting for a Environmental Consultant with experience of the international mining market.The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental management for mining projects ideally including: environmental impact assessment, environmental auditing, environmental management plans/systems design, project closure and reclamation, mine project permitting, mine site closure techniques and technologies. Some experience of social impact assessment also preferable. You should have experience in mine project assessment and evaluation against international standards, including, ideally, the IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and/or World Bank.
