 My Client provides an integrated range of engineering, environmental, planning and management consulting services to a multitude of sectors. Due to continued growth they are actively recruiting for a Air Quality Assistant.*Experience of working in air quality impact assessment or prescribed process regulation with knowledge of the relevant legislation and standards would be ideal. *Suitable qualifications in a scientific subject, project management experience, with good report writing and verbal communication skills are required. *Experience of technical report writing is required and the ability to communicate complex air quality issues to both technical and non-technical audiences is a key aspect of the role. *A full UK driving license is essential. (You must be able to travel, as site based work will be required in the UK and there may be opportunities for short trips overseas to support some projects)*The successful candidate to be competent in handling air quality related datasets (experience of measurement, instrumentation and analytical techniques would be advantageous). A good working knowledge of ADMS, ADMS Roads and/or Aermod would be an advantage, but competence with standard office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. *A working knowledge of GIS software, especially Arc GIS would be useful.
