 Our client has a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to be based on a project at MOD barracks in Berkshire. The project will consist of the new build construction and refurbishment of accommodation blocks, with a value up to £10 million. As Project Manager you will be responsible for all operational aspects of delivery, overseeing a site based team including Site Managers and commercial support. You will be based between the project and the office in the South West, reporting in to a roaming Contracts Manager. You will also be required to hold meetings with the client and maintain / build on existing relationships. The successful candidate will be an experience Project Manager, who has worked for large national main contractors on new build construction projects of at least £6m in value. You will have completed various projects as Project Manager, and be looking to join a forward thinking company in order to progress your career. You will be able to demonstrate first rate references from your previous employers and have an excellent level of technical knowledge in addition to strong management skills. You will already reside between Berkshire and Bristol (ideal Swindon / Bath) and be commutable to both areas. The position will offer an excellent negotiable salary and strong benefits package.
