 Our client is wishing to recruit a Project Manager to join the South West division of their successful national main contracting construction business. As Project Manager you will have full operational responsibility for the delivery of a project as well as responsibility in ensuring the long term future of the client relationship. The project will be the new build and refurbishment on an existing site, valued at around £10m, lasting approximately 18-24 months. You will be supported by substantial site based team with operational and commercial support, and will be based between the Site and office. The position will offer a highly competitive and negotiable salary with excellent benefits package, and a strong path for career progression. The successful candidate will be an experienced Project Manager, with extensive time served with regional or national main contractors within the building industry. You will have particularly strong client facing skills and focus. You must have demonstrable experience working on listed buildings / English Heritage projects within the South West, in addition to a strong background in general construction of commercial buildings of at least £8m in value. Due to the location of the project, candidates must already reside within an hour of Bath. Our client has specified that relocation is not being considered for this vacancy.
