 Our client is a leading residential developer specialising in speculative private house building and Affordable Housing projects nationwide. An experienced Contracts Manager is required to oversee the operational delivery of multiple projects across the South West of England, and South Wales. Individual projects will typically involve private speculative houses and flats up to 80 units, and/or Affordable Housing units for Housing Associations. Typically you will be overseeing 3-5 projects at any one time, reporting into a Construction Director. You will be supported by site based teams and commercial resource and will be responsible for man management and performance reviews where required. The successful candidate will be an experienced Contracts Manager within private and social housing projects, working for regional / national residential developers. You must demonstrate a steady permanent work history with main contractors (rather than sub contractors or client side experience) and will be an enthusiastic, career focused individual with a desire to progress your career with a forward thinking company. You will currently reside within the South West (ideally Bristol / Swindon / Cardiff / Gloucester) and be expected to travel between projects and an office base. A company car will be on offer in addition to mileage expenses.
