Our client is one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Europe employing nearly 1000 staff worldwide. Due to achieving growth ambitions of its delivery of first oil in Ghana and developing the significant resource base discovered in Uganda they are in search of an Estimator. This opportunity will be based out of the impressive West London Offices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

To prepare and /or review of all Estimates prior to approval

Management and effective use of Estimating tools, systems and resources (in-house and 3rd party) ensuring compliance with work practices and procedures

Preparation of internal man-hour estimates in support of the annual business plan and the development of Estimates in support of Project work as appropriate, ensuring all deadline are met and agreed standards are maintained.

Presentation of Estimates as required to all levels of Management.

Continual review of Estimating processes & procedures to ensure they are effective, efficient and complied with.

Perform Cost Risk Analysis on estimates where required by the Risk Management process

Preparation and reviews of Estimating Basis documents

Skills Required:-

Ideally 5 years plus experience

Degree level education.

Relevant experience working within the upstream oil & gas industries in similar cost estimating roles
