 Lead Electrical Design Engineer/Offshore Experience/NEG packageROLE: Lead Electrical Design EngineerLOCATION: AberdeenPACKAGE: NegotiableOur Exclusive client is an international design and manufacture market leader supplying the Offshore Oil and Gas industry. With a HQ in Aberdeen and satellite office throughout the world they are truly a global player in their sector. They now have a requirement in their Head office in Aberdeen for a Lead Electrical Design Engineer. The purpose of this role is to provide Electrical Engineering design, drawings and documentation in support of ongoing projects and future work enquiries. The key responsibilities of the role will be:1.Produce cost effective workable Electrical Engineering design solutions in response to required specifications and regulations to fulfil received orders.2.Produce Electrical Engineering documentation and drawings including, but not limited to, schematics, circuit load calculations, cable schedules & routes, BOMs, plans and test routines as required.3.Assist in development of solutions, pricing and proposals for customer tenders and bid documents.4.Attend regular internal project meetings, with other departments as required, to effectively deliver projects to time and budget.5.Attend external project meetings, with clients, as required to effectively deliver projects to time and budget.6.Contribute to weekly summary status updates of all ongoing projects as required.7.To develop self in accordance with the changing responsibilities of the role.To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate a strong background of experience within:*Offshore electrical design engineering*Project engineering*Control systems engineeringYou will also need to be an adaptable, flexible problem solver who takes a keen interesting the mentoring of junior members of staff.
