Maintenance Team LeaderTo be based in Stamford, TallingtonSalary is £30k - £35kAn excellent opportunity to join a market leading high volume manufacturing organisation. Job Purpose:To deliver operational improvement and development by leading and controlling precast maintenance resource in line with Tallington operational requirements and to implement and sustain performance improvements across these areas.Equipment  Overall monitoring of equipment condition and performance, and management of operations and maintenance plans and activities to ensure ongoing capability to produce at required performance. Identify, delegate, manage and track key responsibilities to ensure that the maintenance teams can deliver site targets/plans.Attend production review meetings to feedback on, production, maintenance, quality and resource issues; develop actions to be followed through.Continually seek improvement opportunities across site which adds value to facility/business performance targets/budget.Ensure that site contributes to best practice development.Ensure that site implements agreed best practiceManpower Planning  Ensure the relevant teams have the flexibility and capability within their labor to bridge gaps and deliver performance targets. Done in conjunction with the Service Manager.Clear objectives are set with agreed timescales.Skills and knowledge amongst the shift teams is review, gaps identified and plans in place to bridge the gap in a timely manor.Sickness/absence/holidays are monitored, issues highlighted, and action taken to reduce the impact on production.Continuous ImprovementMakes suggestions for improving the way things get done.Takes action and initiative to improve performance within own role.Changes way of working to avoid unnecessary waste and cost.Has a good understanding of the role and function of own area of the business.If you feel that you have the right skills and experience then please call me for an informal chat on 0161 276 8135.
