Technical Sales Engineer/Manchester/30k-35k/Immediate StartOur client is a leading manufacturer of specialized, high performance, engineering materials and components with experience spanning three centuries. The diversified product range includes, amongst others, wear parts and bearings, engineering ceramics, high temperature resistant materials, passive fire protection solutions and rotary vanes for pumps and compressors.They are currently seeking a high-calibre, outgoing and results-orientated Technical Sales Engineer. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the development of new business sales in the very wide, diverse engineering manufacturing market. You will report to the commercial manager.You will be expected to perform the following tasks to help you achieve your targets:*Searching for new clients who might benefit from TENMAT products and maximizing customer potential.* Delivering technical presentations and demonstrating how products meet clients needs.*Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.*Meeting regular sales targets.*Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers.*Managing and interpreting customer requirements speaking with customers to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.*Verification & validation of all drawings/designs to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.*Co-ordination with engineering design projects through the company in order to ensure a smooth transition into production.*Traveling to visit potential and existing customers (includes overseas).This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate to develop their career with a growing company who has ambitions to become one of the world's leading companies in the manufacture and supply of differentiated high performance non-metallic engineering materials and components.
