 My client one of the leading Built Asset Consultancy's in the world as part of continued expansion are actively recruiting for a Cost and Commercial Manager - Offshore Wind Farms.Working as part of a team and seconded into a clients office and site based with significant experience in delivering onshore & offshore packages either generically or package specific - but primarily to cover the following areas: *WTG*Foundations*Onshore Sub-stations *Met Mast*Onshore / Offshore Cable Supply & InstallationExperience in providing financial advice and estimating and managing costs including procurement of contractors for offshore wind farms.ExperienceProject Commercial Management including;*Reporting on costs to client management team *Preparing estimates and set up the cost model, including updating throughout pre-contract process*Obtaining quotations *Pricing design solutions*Project cash flow including fees, surveys / investigations etc.. *Prequalification of contractors*Advise on procurement strategy etc *Prepare tender documentation, run tender processes, report and recommend based on singleor multiple package contracts*Advise on cost of alternative design solutions*Advise on VE*Negotiate contract variations with contractors*Cost management of projects during construction including change control, cost reporting, valuationsSkills Required *Contract knowledge - FIDIC / ECC*Cost Management Expertise*Experience in offshore wind farms*Chartered Quantity Surveyor or equivalent qualificationIf you are interested in working for one of the leading built Asset Companies in the world contact James on 0161 276 8135, alternatively send a company of your CV to Jamesm@consortrecruitment.com
