Freelance Estimator – Water Sector – South East, UK Job Details

This new opportunity has just been created with our client, a leading civil engineering firm.   Based in Reading, you will work as part of a bids and tenders team, producing costings for water and sewerage-related schemes as part of a multi-£100m upgrade and refurbishment of Thames Water’s infrastructure.  It’s an interesting role and you’ll have an important impact on our client’s future profitability.

To be considered, you MUST:

                - be able to demonstrate experience as an Estimator in the UK water sector, on the contractor side;

                - be a good team-worker and a self-starter;

                - be able to work in Reading on  a daily basis;

                - be eligible to live and work in the UK.

The position is offered on a contract basis, c. £250 to £350 a day (ltd co), negotiable according to experience.  The initial duration will be 3 to 6 months, on a renewable basis.
