 Our Client is one of the UK leading construction groups with offices across the UK. They currently boast an impressive portfolio of work for 2010 and 2011 and are now looking to further expand their Southern planning team. Our client is seeking a Senior Planner (Planning Engineer) to work on building projects from tender stage all the way through to completion on housing, offices, schools and hospitals.The role will predominantly be based in the office (Watford), tendering on various building projcets across London and the South. These include education, health, private housing, retail and some commercial projects. Occasionally, you will be required to travel to site to perform updates, etc, but the role is primarily dealing with tenders and working at pre-construction stage. The software of choice will be Asta Power Project, although occasionally Primavera may be used depending on the client.Ideally candidates will be expected to have the following experience:- At least 6-7 years planning experience within the Building sector.- Proficiency with Powerproject software essential.- Tender and site experience.- Good communication skills and team player.- Eligible to work in the UK.Dependent upon experience, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £50-55,000 per annum plus:-Executive car/allowance-Pension.-Health insurance.-Various other flexi benefits.Apply now for immediate consideration.Services advertised by Project Resource are that of an employment business and/or agency.
