 Our client is looking to add an experienced Estimator / Surveyor to their regional contracting business. The company has an excellent work pipeline confirmed through to 2012 and is in an strong position to be able to offer a clear path for career progression. The position will involve around 50% pricing and working on tender opportunities to help bring in new contracts, and 50% managing the commercial aspects of the projects once awarded and live. Contracts will involve planned maintenance projects for local authorities, varying in value and length. You will be based between the Bristol office, and visiting sites which will typically be up to an hour from Bristol. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant experience in a QS position with an understanding of Estimating, working for main contractors. You will have a permanent work history rather than freelance, and must currently reside within a commutable distance from Bristol.
