 You should also be able to work to deadlines, under pressure and on own initiative, possess a current driving licence, have CIBSE Membership at any grade and have evidence of continuing professional development and an ongoing commitment to undertake training and studies to meet the demands of both current and future legislation relating to the design of building services. Have a broad experience in the design of mechanical building services which must include: * Preparation of thermal load calculations (heat gains and losses)* Ventilation system design (system selection, plant/duct/fan sizing)* Heating and cooling system design (system selection, plant/pipe/pump sizing)* Domestic hot and cold water system design (system selection, plant/pipe/pumpsizing)* Automatic control systems (functional description and points list)* Ability to use design calculation software (AutoCAD 2D, Hevacomp or IES VE) Have a working knowledge of current legislation and practices in all elements associated with mechanical building services.Other experience which would be beneficial but is not essential includes:* Steam system design* Compressed air system design* Vacuum system design* Laboratory gas system designExperience in some of these sectors would be very beneficial but is not essential. Salary will be dependant on relevant experience, circa £40,000 Services advertised by Project Resource are those of an agency and/or an employment business.
