Project Manager – High Specification refurbishment projects

 

£55-65k basic with car allowance and full benefits.

 

Company: Large Construction Group with successful refurbishment business operating in London and around the M25, with projects ranging in value from £1m to £25m across most High specification building sectors.


Role: Project Manager required to work on negotiated Design & Build refurbishment projects in the London area valued at £10m+, the projects generally comprise of major structural alterations, extensions, basements and roof alterations, with internal completion to a very high specification.

Your responsibilities will include complete project supervision from negotiation or award stage, you will lead and motivate the project team to deliver the project, within programme and budget, whilst ensuring that quality, health & safety and company procedures are adhered to and that the company is not exposed to unnecessary risk at site level, additionally you will liaise with the client and their consultants to ensure the project runs smoothly and develop a client focused approach.

 

Requirements: High Specification Refurbishment experience required upon projects of £5m to £15m in the London area, additionally you must meet the following criteria:-

·         Professional Construction Qualifications

·         Permanent and long term employment with Main Contractors in the UK.

·         Extensive London area project experience essential,

·         Experience of managing projects in excess of £5m,

·         Client and Design team management experience,

·         Good health & safety knowledge,

·         Ability to develop & maintain relationships with supply chain,

·         Good team working and communication skills,

·         Client focused,

·         Accurate planning & programming,

·         Good time manager, organised, able to prioritise effectively,

·         Effective managerial and supervisory skills

·         Reside within commutable distance of London

·         Freelance and Contract employment backgrounds will not be considered

You must have had steady career progression and significant periods of time with employers. Only applicants with previous long term permanent employment with main contractors working upon high quality refurbishment projects in London will be considered by the employer. Ref:2477
