 Senior Design Manager - Fit OutLondonSalary: circa £75,000 per annum + company benefitsJob Ref: DR46398Main Duties:* Lead the Design management of key venues, which may be individual or multiple projects. Develop the Clients brief and ensure the design team are working to the correct version at all times.* Identify and agree the key milestones for sign off and approval by the client.* Lead the development of deliverables; together with the designers, identify the final deliverables for the project, and also the plan for delivering outputs at each milestone in the project.* Lead the design development schedule; ensure this is integrated with the overall project schedule, review and update as appropriate, and working with the design team to deliver to meet the milestones and overall schedule* Identify issues which may cause schedule, cost or interface issues and take appropriate action to remedy the issue with others as appropriate.* Review project progress at least weekly and identify any issues that need to be addressed, and take action as appropriate.* Review RFIs and Design team issues, including change control requests and review and progress them within agreed timescales.* Responsible for the Delivery Management Plan for the venue within the overall scheduleSkills/Experience needed:* Must have experience as a Design Manager of Commercial Fit Out projects* Experience working on various projects of the value of £10M upwards* Ideally a degree holder however key working experience will always be considered* Ideally come from a Architectural backgroundTo apply for this opportunity or to find out about other Design Management opportunities please call Daniel Risby at Project Resource.
