Description:	A local housing trust are looking for an experienced quantity surveyor to join their commercial team. The role will be to support the transformation of the Repairs and Maintenance service to a tenant focused, commercially viable enterprise. To provide financial control and reporting for the commercial trading of the repairs and maintenance services, including: performance against budgets; sub-contract management; materials and supplies procurement; cost reconciliation including monthly internal recharges; monitoring of cost and agreeing final accounts Also will contribute to the development and implementation of partnering and rethinking procurement strategies and relationships within the construction industryApplicants must have previous experience within the social housing sector and be educated to degree level or equivilant.
