TB37 Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor (Building Services) – Freelance Job Details

We have just been engaged by a well-known M&E services company to source a Senior QS to join them on a freelance basis.  Based in their London HQ and then their London site office, your role will be to manage the day-to-day cost, risk, and commercial elements for a major package of building services.   You will manage, monitor and report on the project’s financial performance, and once the work is complete deliver the final account. 

It’s an interesting role in which you’ll have a critical impact on the project’s profitability and financial success.

To be considered, you MUST:

-          Have a strong background in Quantity Surveying (contractor-side, not PQS);

-          Have a strong background in the building services / M&E subcontracting sector;

-          Be able to demonstrate experience and familiarity with the NEC form of contract;

-          Be a ‘hands-on’ QS, experienced in managing subcontract packages at site-level.

The role is offered on a freelance basis for an initial three month period (renewable).  Daily rate will be in the range of £275 to £375 (ltd co).
