BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR/MANAGER – Power sector

Package: $Negotiable tax free basic plus accommodation, flights and benefits package.

Company: : Market leading European Consultancy and Engineering business that is growing, successful and profitable, with numerous international power sector projects, providing design, construction, owners engineer and project management advice for large Engineering schemes.

Role: Business Development Manager to undertake Marketing and Business Development for thermal power plant and renewable energy projects in South East Asia, with a focus upon securing further contracts and to maximise upon the substantial amount of funding, investment and development currently taking place.

Responsibilities include identifying and developing business opportunities,  developing and maintaining extensive business network, Market analysis, Preparing strategic plans for business development and entering new markets, Pre Qualification and development of opportunities, the management of prequalification documents and the business cv, Preparing technical and commercial proposals, manage and organise client presentations, develop further opportunities with existing clients and develop new opportunities with funding organisations, investment parties, government departments and funders, world and UN agencies. The position can be based within one of the major cities in South East Asia and will include frequent travel in the Asia Pacific region.

Requirements: Only applicants with an Engineering Degree and extensive experience of the international Power sector will be considered. A track-record of business development in the power sector is required. Good commercial and technical understanding of power plant projects.  

Applicants must be fluent in English, additional languages and previous experience of working in South East Asia would be an advantage.
